Anseo on Lower Camden Street is not the sort of bar you return to after a long absence and think – Wow, I love what they’ve done with the place! Musty concert posters still adorn on the walls, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry is on the turntables and an overpowering stench of incense continues to pervade the place.

If they’re aiming for a 1980s Student Union vibe they’ve succeeded. In spades. Not that the hip(-ish), young(-ish) crown in here tonight seem to mind. Read the rest of this entry »
