ADMIN BLUES

or how we did it

Productivity has bottomed out. Our department is now so far behind on processing claims that the clients who made the claims in the first place have now forgotten ever doing so. Coming up with the goods at this remove only seems to annoy them further. Doing nothing actually makes more sense. Read the rest of this article here.

    Hey Eoin!

I wasnt 100% sure about the last two but I DEFINETELY worked in the same Company which shall be Nameless when this happened.

Some good memorys but I’d say we’re both glad to be out of there LOL. Best of luck with the writing.

  3. Eoin Says:

If you pay very, very close attention EK – so does The Wire!

  4. mac Says:

LOL excellent twist at the end. does that mean the trilogy is over now? isn’t there going to be one where they’re union workers in the docks or go back to school?

Go on about The Wire all you like don’t you know Eoin is in talks to have Admin Booze turned into a big TV series. Dominic West in the starring role.

About the babies and the Mayoman competition, do you do launch ceremonies for newly installed pedestrian gates as well? Or pop to the shop for more gift-wrap? I’m just trying to gauge here what I can get for my vote.

  7. Eoin Says:

Well… that depends how far west we’re talking. Any further than Newport and I’d want me petrol paid for I’m afraid!

  8. Lisa Says:

Talking about The Wire (albeit tangentially) I was watching Circle of Friends last night (yes, yes, I know) and who was in it only a very fresh-faced Tommy Carcetti.

  9. Eoin Says:

@ Lisa – I saw that. Did you notice incidentally in the DVD extras that Aidan Gillan continues using his Baltimore accent even in interviews?

  10. Lisa Says:

Interesting. Method acting perhaps? Haven’t got around to watching the extras yet but looks like will have ample spare time on my hands this winter so will get settled into them soon.
