‘DEAD CHILD COULD LIVE AGAIN AS CLONE’

godsendOkay this story freaks the shit out of me. A ten year old girl who died in a car crash is about to be brought back to life by controversial fertility expert Panayiotis Zavos. The American doctor froze some of the girl’s blood cells after her death in August, 2002, and combined them with cow eggs to create a human-animal hybrid embryo.

Forget the thorny moral issues. People should be a lot more concerned about potential creepy child issues…

    cow eggs ha what next

  2. Eoin Says:

The cows eggs aren’t the issue here Conal. The issue is that once the cloned kid passes the age at which the original kid died, it will become this sort of pallid freak who enters rooms unnoticed and scares the shit out of everyone. Mark my words, Conal. Mark my words.

Surely the real issue is that you somehow found yourself on the Daily Mail website!?

For the record Rob, they’ve completely changed the emphasis in that story now. When I first linked to it, it was like “dead child to live again” – no mention of locking the guy up or anything.
