Miscellaneous Amusing Items I Come Across #43

agoraphobia
Sorry, I’m obsessed with these stupid headlines. I’ve got a problem. I admit it. (Although now that I think of it, this one does call to mind a rather amusing interview I conducted last year.)

I am absolutely obsessed with these aswell, it’s such a joy to walk into the newsagents and find that a whole new rack of insanity awaits. Personal favourite from a while back was
    “Night of the rapemobiles”

  2. Eoin Says:

Haha… Rapemobiles? There was more than one rapemobile!? Holy God…

There was some show on Channel 4 recently that was looking into these mags. I seen the ads and thought “finally, someone’s gotten to the bottom of this. I’ll watch that and I’ll know”. But then I just forgot and dont care actually. I’m sure there’s some mathematical equation waiting to be done on how you end up in these. Bizarre misfortune in life so far x amount of brandless burgers recently eaten =

Take A Weird Break and Heroes Of Switzerland are both good places for connoisseurs of weekly tattle rags…

  5. Ger Says:

That second link is just a link to this page Bristle. Or is that the point you’re making?

@ Ger, Gueleton – Just mailed him there to tell him I loved the Take a Weird Break link and could he send on the correct Heroes of Switzerland. He said his wife is labour now but he’ll get around to it as soon as he can.

I suppose he does have his priorities in order!

    Apologies – yep, cut’n’paste mishap, I meant to post…

As Eoin says, it was all go yesterday – but after labour lasting since Wednesday, a nearly four kilo wee fella popped out in the early hours today 🙂

  9. Eoin Says:

Congratulations Bristle, and thanks a lot for the link. (Simon Cowell on a football pitch… wft!?)
