MISCELLANEOUS AMUSING ITEMS I’VE COME ACROSS#3

catholic-church Like a lot of people from Catholic backgrounds, I have a lingering fascination with the religion’s, shall we say, oddball fringe. This is a window display from a shop I pass every day. I took this picture a few weeks ago and, while it’s kinda weird and all, there isn’t much in it for a true aficionado to really sink his teeth into.

Walking past today, however, I was wildly excited to see this…

I can’t believe it. After all those masses I served, incense I burned and candles I quenched, no one bothered warning me about The Great Purification. I mean, it sounds kinda important, right? Not to worry, I’ve done some digging around online and, apparently, it’s not happening until 2012. So no need to sweat it just yet. According to this guy, “We are at a point of no return. The two-legged are about to bring destruction to life on Earth…” Looks it looks like we all owe Heather Mills a massive apology.

    Woaahhh!!! The Great Purification. Sounds heavy.

    Sounds much more pleasurable than the Great Purification of ’84.That was a smelly event.
