NOW I’M A FOOL (2008)

This starts off like it’s going to be an epic melodrama in the vein of Don’t Worry Baby, but quickly morphs into one of those slithery Stones numbers from the 1980s, in which Mick Jagger would pretend that evil women were taking advantage of his good nature. Incidentally, this right here is my favourite ever Eagles of Death Metal track. They just didn’t make a video for it. Also, Eagles of Death metal guy supported McCain against Obama. Fast forward to 3min 00 sec… Fuck it, all’s well that ends well.

Great track, very Stones-y drums…though you weren’t dissing Don’t Worry Baby there were you? Not ‘avin it.

Not slagging it off all Lenny, Don’t Worry Baby is one of my favourite ever Beach Boys tracks!

Cool cool, I love it too. Actually remember being quite surprised by how high it was was on Pitchfork’s list of the best songs of the 60s (which had God Only Knows @ No.1)

Speaking of the Beach Boys, been listening to Dennis Wilson’s Pacific Ocean Blue over the last few days and been really blow away. A wonderful album.

I know it well Lenny, great album!
