“But they paled into insignificance when stacked against the disastrous mistakes he made”

So gassing Kurds was a mistake? Saddam pushed the wrong red button, eh?

    What a ****.

When I was talking to Galloway, I’d heard about the cat suit thing. But I’d never actually seen it. Hence sympathising with him a little over it.

Seeing the photographic evidence now, good God, what was he thinking?

  3. David Says:

Without wanting to dredge up all those Iraq war debates that are SO last decade, I agree with his own description of himself as a toerag.
“Saddam made some terrible decisions” – yes George, he sure did.

  4. Eoin Says:

To be honest, I got a couple of emails from readers who accused me of brown-nosing Galloway. Short Q&A format does not permit me to delve into issues very deeply, so tone has to be light. But maybe a Q&A with him was not therefore the best idea in the world.
