(ONE WAY OR ANOTHER) THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE FOOTBALLER IS…
It’s 4.30am, Wednesday. I’m up late finishing a couple of things off. Yeah, those bitches had to die… No, seriously. I was finishing up some articles I’m working on. It’s pretty much bright outside now and it’s still not entirely clear where God-loving Brazilian international Kaka is going to be playing his football next season. To recap, at about 11pm, the Telegraph announced that Kaka had just joined Real for £56m stg:
As the transfer window dramatically exploded into life, Roman Abramovich is understood to have personally contacted AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani in a late effort to buy Kaka, but was told that a deal had already been agreed with Madrid for the 27-year-old former World Football of the Year.
Then it was announced that that deal was off. At 3am, Sports Illustrated reported:
Report: Kaká’s Real Madrid move held up by late Chelsea bid
The official announcement of Kaká’s transfer to Real Madrid has been held up after Chelsea made a last-gasp bid for the AC Milan ace on Tuesday night, according to Sky Italia.
The Belfast Telegraph concurred:
Report: Kaká’s Real Madrid move held up by late Chelsea bid
The official announcement of Kaká’s transfer to Real Madrid has been held up after Chelsea made a last-gasp bid for the AC Milan ace on Tuesday night, according to Sky Italia.
Now the Sun says:
CHELSEA failed with a spectacular bid to land Kaka last night, as the Brazilian joined Real Madrid for a world record £62million.
Despite that outlay, Real are reportedly still pursuing Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic and Xavi Alonso.

I think it would be interesting if he was sold to either Real or Chelsea and then failed the medical.
Getting sick of this collecting of the best at a handful of clubs.
