EOIN’S TECH SUPPORT CORNER #(THE ONLY ONE EVER)
If, like me, you’re addicted to watching US comedy late night shows online, here’s a tip that you may find useful. As you may know, The Daily Show and Colbert Report recently stopped streaming internationally. Others like Letterman, Conan, SNL etc. allow only partial access to online videos. But as I understand it, if you follow the instructions above, you’ll be able to fool the internet into thinking you’re in the United States and basically laugh your leg off for free any time you want.
I had to have someone else do all the technical bits on my behalf, but it definitely, definitely works.

yep, it works! and now i will be resuming my regular nightly dose of the daily show. thank you!
advise for mac users… at step 5 i hit a wall but i added http://imugur….etc as a separate filter and enabled it too and then it started working. Don’t know if it’s technically correct, but it works.

Awesome. Now, what sites are best to use with this? NBC works but the streaming isnt great and Hulu thinks im still in europe. Any tips??
