(ONE WAY OR ANOTHER) THE WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE FOOTBALLER IS…
It’s 4.30am, Wednesday. I’m up late finishing a couple of things off. Yeah, those bitches had to die… No, seriously. I was finishing up some articles I’m working on. It’s pretty much bright outside now and it’s still not entirely clear where God-loving Brazilian international Kaka is going to be playing his football next season. Read the rest of this entry »
OBSCURE SIXTIES GARAGE ROCK TRACK REFERENCED IN TABLOID NEWS HEADLINE SHOCKER!
A front page article in the Guardian today, concerning lingering resentment on Merseyside over The Sun’s coverage of the Hillsborough tragedy, hardly told us much we didn’t already know. Briefly, sensational tabloid news reports aren’t always true and, despite their protestations to the contrary, Liverpudlians really do have a tendency to wallow in victimhood. The one that’s eating him up inside. But all I can think about is the smell of Chinese food… Read the rest of this entry »
HERO OF THE WEEK: ANDREA DOSSENA
When Andrea Dossena came off the bench to score a cracking goal against Real Madrid last night, he didn’t just confirm Liverpool’s passage into the quarter-finals of the Champions League. He also inspired one special little boy watching at home to believe in himself, no matter what odds he faced… Read the rest of this entry »
